Grief occurs when something we thought we could count on goes away. This may be the death of a loved one or the dawning reality of our own mortality; a parent/child or spousal relationship changing into a patient/caregiver relationship; or simply when life does not turn out the way we imagined. I am a psychologist who can help you navigate these experiences, and the depression, anxiety, and/or relationship problems that often accompany them.
I work hard to ensure our work together is a positive experience. From the beginning, I will help you feel at ease, supported, and understood. I will listen carefully to your situation and suggest an individualized plan to get you on track to feeling better. My clients are often surprised by the relief they feel after just a few meetings.
